YOUR ACCOUNT
First and foremost you need to register with us and create your jamtrackcentral account. Follow the on screen instructions and make sure you fill out all the required sections.
There are five parts to your account…
Your Downloads - This is where you go to download your purchases. You can select between your series and single track downloads.
Purchase History - Details of all of your purchases or free downloads
Wishlist - Fill this up with all the jam track packages you wish to keep an eye on for purchasing another day.
Account - These are your details, such as name and address. The address details must be filled out in order to purchase and it is very important that your country is selected correctly, otherwise you may experience payment issues. You can update these details at any time.
Password - You can update your password here at any time.
TYPES OF PRODUCTS
We have streamlined our products into x different types, so you can quickly get to grips with what type of jam track package is best for you.
As standard you always get:
- Solo example tracks as an MP3
- Solo backing track as an MP3
- Complete TAB and notation in PDF and Powertab format
And most of the time you also get:
- Extended jam track as an MP3
- Live video performance of the solo example track being played
The different types of packages are:
1, 3 and 5 Track – These are always an artist associated package and come with a live video performance of the track you are about to learn.
Audio Only – These types of packages do not contain any video and can range from anything between 3 and 50 tracks.
Album – Love your guitar music? Then this section contains just the albums available through the site.
Album Backings – This is where you get the official album backing tracks form your favourite artist along with loads of TAB for you to learn exactly what they played.
Compilation – These packages contain mixtures of tracks taken across the whole of our jam track catalogue
Boxset – A boxset package contains multiple packages from one artist, bundled together so you can get your hands on a load of material a bit cheaper!
CHOOSE YOUR PRODUCTS
Our filtering system makes it really easy for you to find exactly what you are looking for. Head to the ‘jamtracks’ page and then click on the different filtering sections on the left hand side, which in turn will display the products that match your search. At any time you can remove a certain field by clicking on it again, or simply click the reset button to clear the whole search. You can also use the search field to find a specific product.
When you wish to check out more details on a product, simply click on it and it will take you to that product page. Here you will be able to find out exactly what you get, as well as hear previews of the jam track, solo track and where applicable video.
If you like what you see then click the Buy Now button and it will be added to your download basket. When you have chosen the products you wish to buy then click on your download basket and you will be taken through the payment process.
CHECKOUT
Once you have gone to your download basket you can review your purchases before purchasing them. Here you have a choice of how you wish to pay. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX and a whole host of other types of cards, or alternatively you can use Paypal.
You must have filled out your address details in order to proceed to checkout, as these details are carried over to the paymnet system.
Upon completing your payment you will receive a confirmation email and your chosen downloads will then appear in the ’Your Downloads’ section of your account. If payment was successful then they will be allocated within ten minutes of purchase.
DOWNLOADING
In ‘Your Downloads’ click on the download now button of your chosen product and the file will automatically start downloading to your computer.
All of our products come in “zip” files to make the download faster. A zip file is like an envelope… you need to open it to see the stuff you bought. To do this on a Windows PC, right-click on the zip file and select “Extract here”. On a Mac, just double-click the file to extract it. You will then see a folder with the same name as the zip file. You can now safely delete the zip file, but we suggest that you store it as a backup.
