This pack also features a great Blues backing track on based on a 4 bars loop that uses all 3 of the chord types found in a traditional blues track (including an altered chord which can allow you to springboard some of your jazz ideas)

Denny Says: 'Welcome to the first of my "20 licks" packages for JTC. In this package you'll find a lot of simple, but very useful, tricks of the trade used by jazz players when playing on a blues sequence. The idea is to encourage you to take your first steps away from the "default" minor pentatonic box shape by introducing a variety of position shifts, chromatic passing tones and jazz flavoured phrasing. The first step toward jazz/blues tonality also involves following the chords as they change so there are lots of examples here demonstrating how to add flavour and interest by using the chord tones (R, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th etc) of any given chord.
