Paul is a self taught musician, although he did get a little help from Bert Weedon, and lives in London. He has an incredible CV of artists that he has played with over the years. You are in very safe hands when you are jamming along with a Paul Harvey track.
In the Late 70's Paul moved to London from his home in Lincolnshire on the search of joining a band. At the time there were a load of venues in London and it didn't take long for him to pick up gigs every night. Before long Paul went on to play with the Tom Robinson Band, which lasted for a good few years. Paul even co-wrote a load of songs for the album, including a big hit in the mid 80's called "Still Loving You", which was a classic mid-tempo ballad. Paul was then poached by Ellis Beggs and Howard which subsequently got signed to BMG Records, and together they achieved a load of hits throughout Europe. This was followed by lots of gigs and recording. It was then that a touring gig with a band called Prefab Sprout around Europe and England came along and followed by more studio work. Other projects include working with Carol Decker from T'Pau and playing with Then Jerico, gigging , writing, as well as recording a couple of albums. Paul is also one of London's most sought after guitar teachers and one of our biggest contributors.
