Dave is a master of the studio (you don't become the MD of Sound On Sound Magazine if you don't know your stuff!) and this shows with the incredible production of this album. Containing beautifully constructed ballads, melodic jazz, west coast grooves and acoustic duets, each track draws you into its own world of different textures and elements whilst Dave's well thought through solos reflect perfectly against each backdrop. Use the TAB to play exactly what Dave intended or use the superb backings to create your own solos.
If you have already delved into the world of Dave's Smooth Grooves jam track package you may recognise a couple of the tracks, as he used elements from some of his album tracks to create those jam tracks, albeit different versions, solo's and/or mixes.
